HELP DESK / TECHNICIAN -
Principle duties and Responsibilities As the Help desk Technician, you are responsible for coordination and execution of tier1 in a multi-tier technical support service for our clients and internal staff., responds to client problems, both software and hardware applications. The schedule will be from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but the candidate must be flexible to work after-hours support in the evening, weekends and holidays, as well as in an on call beeper rotation. Strong IT skills (All varieties of Microsoft Windows, MS Office and LAN Technology) are required. Understanding of Linux flavors a major plus. You will perform installations, modifications and repairs on PC's and peripheral devices, as well as install software upgrades and run diagnostics on computer hardware. You may be responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory, hardware/software repairs on varied hardware/operating systems via desk side support, including:
Candidate should have an Associate degree/technical degree, and or a minimum of 3 years experience. A minimum of 3 references will be requested.
